DIY Christmas Topiary
Whether you’re looking for a last-minute Christmas decor project or saving up ideas for next year, I love the way these DIY Christmas topiaries turned out! Maybe you saw this video on Facebook in the fall? I mostly followed the same steps but exchanged the fall leaf garland for Christmas green garland. In all honesty, most of my Christmas decorations were purchased on sale the days after Christmas the past few years. Like 50-75% off kind of sales! How To Paint An Entry Rug
So I’ve had this rug complete for over a week now. But there was something funny going on with my website that would not let me upload images. And what good is a how-to tutorial without images? DIY Burlap Roman Shades
We’re only 11 days into July, but it’s already been so, so busy! Between Independence Day festivities, taking care of baby girl, and my duties at the Today’s Homeowner headquarters, I haven’t gotten much done around the house save the usual laundry, cooking, and cleaning. When I was a little kid, I loved looking through the circular from Big Lots and picking out all kinds of seasonal decorative items. Did you know that you’re required to have the street number of your house clearly visible either on the house itself or on your mailbox? I remember reading that when I was researching how high to set my mailbox back in 2011 when I moved in. (There was an elderly lady who lived here before me who had a mailbox mounted on the house. Quick Mother’s Day Craft
Apparently this week was Teacher Appreciation Week. And this Sunday is the mother of all holidays, Mother’s Day. We’ve had a sick bug going around our house this week. Ugh. So far the baby has been spared (and I hope that continues!), but apparently several of the parents with babies in the same daycare room have been sick as well.
