Chelsea’s Choice: Sense-able Keyless Security

November 2, 2015 By Chelsea Lipford Wolf 3 Comments

**This giveaway has ended. Scroll down to see the winner and click over to my giveaway tab to see my current giveaway!

I’ve had a keypad-style deadbolt on my house since we remodeled it in 2012. And it is the greatest thing ever. I can go for a walk or run without having a key bop around in my pocket. And my mom can drop by and water my plants when I’m out of town without having to hide a key or arrange a drop off.

But now Schlage has taken it a step further with the new Schlage Sense. This sleek door lock can be controlled through Bluetooth technology on your smartphone. Since it comes with a Grade 1 security rating you don’t have to worry about the wrong people getting in.

Schlage Sense App and Deadbolt in Action

With memory for 30 different codes at once, each member of your family can have his or her own code. And if someone is misbehaving you can disable their code to teach them a lesson. Just kidding!

Schlage Sense in Century Trim

All you need is a screwdriver to install it. Set up and programming can all be done through the free Scalage Sense app.

Schlage Sense in Camelot Trim

Now next time you’re walking out the door with your hands full, you won’t have to worry about finding the keys to lock the door. You can load up your car and lock it from the driver’s seat. Ta-da!

(1) winner will be randomly selected using the widget below. Winner will be able to choose between the Century or Camelot trim (seen above).

Still pregnant over here🙃Just finished up these Still pregnant over here🙃Just finished up these concrete spheres and will have a video to share soon! I first discovered them visiting my sisters in Mountain Brook, AL. They seem to be used to keep people from parking in the yard along the street. But I think they are so neat just as yard decorations! What other purposes could they serve?
