I hope everyone is following along with the excitement that is Design+Construction Week 2015 on the Today’s Homeowner Facebook page!

If not, you’re missing out on the latest and greatest in the building, kitchen, and bath industries, like this beautiful and approachable kitchen faucet from Moen!

Single-handle faucets and pull-down sprayers like this one are all the rage in kitchens these days, but the best part is the MotionSense technology behind in front of it…you don’t even have to touch it to use it! Just the wave of your hand activates water flow. And since it comes in this Spot Resist Stainless finish, if you do happen to touch it, you won’t be leaving grimy fingerprints behind.

When you’re done filling your pot or rinsing your sink, the spray head retracts back into place with Moen’s Reflex system. To use their words, it “puts itself away”. Finally something in the house you don’t have to clean up after!

You can enter once a day between now and 8:00 PM (Central Time, US) on January 23, 2015. And don’t forget to share it with your friends and neighbors too!

My poor faucet is not only old and leaking; it has no ability to spray, (I cup the water in my hands to rinse the sink), and the end no longer has a filter, (It’s so old parts are no longer made!). Bottom line: I could really use this product!

P.S. Love both your show and Today’s Homeowner!

My husband and I bought a house near the military base he is stationed at. We chose a 1976 built home because of many of the nicer aspects than these cookie cutter homes. I however am not excited about my sink in particular. I would love to change this by changing the old faucet. It’s on my “honey do list”.

Lookie! It’s a shelf for your bookies! 🤣Build Lookie! It’s a shelf for your bookies! 🤣Building a shelf unit custom for ANY space in your home is so simple and can be done over and over again to add much needed storage aka sanity! The kids were running all over the house at bedtime trying to find a book to read because we had them stashed in baskets and shelves in several different rooms. So I took advantage of this space in the hall next to a closet to create a central location for their books and some of mine too! Plus it adds a little character to an otherwise blah space!🙌🏻
