(Play) Kitchen Remodel
When you find a perfectly good play kitchen on the side of the road, you can’t not pick it up! Am I right? My mom spotted it while walking in her neighborhood and called me up. I was there 15 minutes later loading it in my trunk! (With some assistance from its previous owner.) And this isn’t my first time picking up treasures off the side of the road! So don’t let that turn you off from installing your own kitchen faucet! (I watched this video in preparation for this task.) Without getting into too many details, my sink cabinet was actually a wall cabinet, so it had a top. The installers cut a hole in the top…

I just got back to Sweet Home Alabama after a whirlwind trip to Las Vegas for the annual Design + Construction Week. This huge industry event is put on by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) every year. It’s always fun to see people I see there every year and meet new people in the trade. And what better way to see the up-and-coming trends to share with you! The funny thing about trends is that they don’t just pop up and then disappear all of a sudden. The change is gradual. According to the NKBA’s annual Design Trend Report, kitchen…
