If you haven’t already, check out this month’s webisode to really see this smart thermostat in action! It’s called “smart” because it uses your habits of preferred temperature and time of day you like it a certain temperature to program itself to save you money while still keeping you and your family warm and toasty or cool as a cucumber. Might seem a little eery that it can adjust itself, but how awesome is it that you never have to worry about your HVAC system running while you’re away, costing you big dollars?
And I mentioned that it was WiFi-capable meaning you can download an app and control your thermostat from ANYWHERE you have internet connection! (Assuming you have WiFi at your house.) And what’s great about the Cor app is it looks and operates just like the unit itself. What you see on your phone is what it looks like at your home.
I tell ya, those folks at Carrier certainly had me in mind when they made this!

That thermostat/app would be perfect when traveling during the winter months. Being able to monitor the house temperature could help prevent frozen pipes. Awesome technology.
