DIY Dollhouse Nightstand with Free Plans!

This how-to video shows you exactly how to build a custom nightstand that looks just like a dollhouse! Sign up for the FREE plans below to make it even easier!

Materials to Make 1 Nightstand

For whatever reason, it’s currently cheaper and easier to purchase (2) 2’x4′ plywood panels than it is to purchase (1) 4’x8′ sheet. And if you’re making 2 nightstands at the same time, like I did, you only have to buy 1 more project panel! Though most other things will need to be doubled.

I’ve included affiliate links of all items and tools I used to build this project. I will earn a small commission without any increase to you. I hope it makes it easier for you to get what you need to complete your project! Store pickup is life!🙌🏻

Step by Step

Once you have the basics of building furniture figured out, it is really easy to duplicate and make anything you can think of! This simple, yet SO cute, nightstand is a simple plywood box, with a door and a shelf!

Cut your plywood to size, drill pocket holes in the appropriate boards, and screw together.

Use a jigsaw to cut the holes for the dollhouse windows and door and a little dab of wood glue to hold them in place.

And of course you know I’m going to use my favorite paint sprayer to apply a smooth, even finish on these sweet nightstands!
